e-Cost (Payroll Cost Centres) Alerts (Modals)

There are several Alerts which are displayed within e-Cost (Payroll Cost Centres),

  1. Invalid Cost Centre Set Up for Essential Plan Alert (Modal)
  2. Unable to Add Primary Cost Centre Alert (Modal)
  3. Unable to add Child Cost Centre Alert (Modal)
  4. Assign Payee to Cost Centre Alert (Modal)
  5. Assign Cost Centre as Default Hours Allocation Alert (Modal)
  6. Assign Cost Centre as Default Pay Location Alert (Modal)
  7. Assign Cost Centre as Default Payment Alert (Modal)
  8. Unable to Remove Cost Centre Assignment Alert (Modal)
  9. Remove Cost Centre Assignment Alert (Modal)
  10. Update Cost Centre Details Alert (Modal)
  11. Delete Cost Centre Alert (Modal)

Some alerts may be displayed when editing the Cost Centre File,

  1. Clear Pay Run Dates Alert (Modal)
  2. Cost Centre Banking Details Required Alert (Modal)
  3. Exit Without Saving Alert (Modal)

Invalid Cost Centre Set Up for Essential Plan Alert (Modal)

The Invalid Cost Centre Set Up for Essential Plan Alert (Modal) is displayed when the Plan Level is Essential, and e-Cost is selected from the side menu when there is more than one (1) active Cost Centre.

To resolve this alert, Change your Plan Level from Essential to Advanced or Delete a Cost Centre.

 


Unable to Add Primary Cost Centre Alert (Modal)

The Unable to Add Primary Cost Centre Alert (Modal) is displayed when Add Primary Cost Centre is selected in e-Cost (Cost Centres) and your Plan Level is Essential.

 

To add more Cost Centres, please Change your Plan Level from Essential to Advanced.

 


Unable to add Child Cost Centre Alert (Modal)

The Unable to add Child Cost Centre Alert (Modal) is displayed when Add Child Cost Centre is selected in e-Cost (Cost Centres) and either;

  1. Your Plan Level is Essential - to add more Cost Centres, please Change your Plan Level from Essential to Advanced.
  2. There are Payees currently assigned to the Cost Centre - to resolve this, please refer to Unassign Payee/s from a Cost Centre.

 


Assign Payee to Cost Centre Alert (Modal)

When Assign Payees is selected in e-Cost (Cost Centres), the Assign Payee to Cost Centre Alert (Modal) is displayed.

 

 

Search enables you to enter information to filter the results shown in the Payees List.

 

The Payees List displays the Payee Code, First Name and Family Name for each previously added Payee not already assigned to the selected Cost Centre.

 

Showing X to X of X entries. Show X entries allows you to select how many Payees you would like displayed per page.

 

Pagination Controls allows you to navigate between the pages of Payees.


Assign Cost Centre as Default Hours Allocation Alert (Modal)

The Assign Cost Centre as Default Hours Allocation Alert (Modal) is conditionally displayed when Choose Defaults > Hours Allocation is selected in e-Cost (Payroll Cost Centres).

 


Assign Cost Centre as Default Pay Location Alert (Modal)

The Assign Cost Centre as Default Pay Location Alert (Modal) is conditionally displayed when Choose Defaults > Pay Location  is selected in e-Cost (Payroll Cost Centres).

 


Assign Cost Centre as Default Payment Alert (Modal)

The Assign Cost Centre as Default Payment Alert (Modal) is conditionally displayed when Choose Defaults > Payment  is selected in e-Cost (Payroll Cost Centres).

 


Unable to Remove Cost Centre Assignment Alert (Modal)


Remove Cost Centre Assignment Alert (Modal)

The Remove Cost Centre Assignment Alert (Modal) is displayed when a Payee is being unassigned from a Cost Centre that does not have any transactions allocated from the Pay Run for this Payee.

 

To remove the Payee from the selected Cost Centre, select Yes. Otherwise, select No.

 


Update Cost Centre Details Alert (Modal)

The Update Cost Centre Details Alert (Modal) is displayed when Actions > Check for Update is selected in e-Cost (Cost Centres). This alert displays the GL Account Code and Cost Code linked to previous pay runs and updates based on the current settings in Cost Centre Details.

 


Delete Cost Centre Alert (Modal)

The Delete Cost Centre Alert (Modal) is displayed when the Cost Centre is right-selected and Delete is chosen from the Actions Menu.

 

To delete the Cost Centre, select Yes. Otherwise, select No.

 


Clear Pay Run Dates Alert (Modal)

The Clear Pay Run Dates Alert (Modal) is displayed when Clear is selected in Pay Run within the Cost Centre File.

 

To clear the Pay Periods Pay Run Dates, select Yes. Otherwise, select No.

 


Cost Centre Banking Details Required Alert (Modal)

The Cost Centre Banking Details Required Alert (Modal) is displayed when the Banking Details are removed from the Cost Centre File. However, there is at least one Payee with this Cost Centre assigned in Paid By (FAST-Bank).

 

To resolve this issue, please refer to Change the Default Cost Centre (Payment) for a specific Payee in e-Cost (Payroll Cost Centres).

 


Exit Without Saving Alert (Modal)

The Exit Without Saving Alert (Modal) is displayed when attempting to close the Cost Centre without saving after the information stored has been changed or updated.

 

👉 If OK is selected, the Cost Centre is closed without saving. 

👉 If Cancel is selected, the alert is closed, and the Cost Centre remains open.
